I’m taking a bit of a break from uploading and commenting madly everywhere; stock photography sites, wordpress, redbubble, flickr, art for conservation, zazzle. It’s amazing just how much time all those things take! I’m taking this break so I can power through my backlog of photos from a fantastic holiday I had travelling around the USA late last year. But I couldn’t miss this week’s photo challenge.
I’ve already recently posted my bluest photo ever, a glowing blue jellyfish, but although it’s blue (very blue), it’s not particularly a creative blue. So I thought I’d humbly submit this:
This is No 1 London Bridge, London. The geometry of the architecture and the colour the building from the reflective windows and the blue sky really caught my eye. I was late to meet friends as I simply could not pass up capturing this image there and then. Blue skies are a rare sight in London!

An inspired interpretation of the challenge. I love abstract architectural photography – mainly because I never see those shapes and colours as you have here. I have a great admiration for photographers who capture those images.
Thank you, although I don’t feel I can take much credit. I didn’t go out hunting for this image, it’s actually quite different from my normal style, but the shapes and lines just happened to capture my eye when I was wandering through London one day. I’d like to do more though, to balance all my nature shots with the feel of a city also!

Cool shot, I really like the blue square up above, adds a whole new layer of interest to it. Great entry! xxx Ailsa
Thanks! I like the opening at the top too, kinda balances it all out.
Absolutely superb!
Thank you!
How do you that ! 😀 Awesome photoshot
I was just looking around and bam, there the image was! Even when you can’t see the sky for skyscrapers, it’s still worth looking up 🙂
Amazing image!
Thanks!
