To say the Grand Canyon is big is unarguable, it’s almost an international standard measure for big.
But I also like small everyday things made big, like these big bolts in Tower Bridge, London.
Australia has a habit of building big things: we have a Big Sheep, a Big Banana, a Big Pineapple, a Big Prawn, and plenty of others, but alas I have no photos (and the word “big” is starting to look weird).

Big is relative, isn’t it? Looking up the river from the Tower Bridge, I saw the Shard. Now that’s Big and Tall.
Toni
Definitely. Like so much in life, it all comes down to perspective.

Thank you! And sorry for not replying earlier; I’ve never been nominated for an award before, so I’m still not sure whether to participate, but I forgot to at least say thank you for thinking of me, I am touched.
I love the Tower Bridge photo. I had to look at it for a while to work out what it was. Fantastic abstract!
Thanks!

I love the tower bridge picture. I’m also kinda curious about the Big Prawn.
It’s a prawn. It’s big. It’s not very edible. It lives on the side of what used to be the main highway between Sydney and Brisbane. It used to have big eyes that glowed blue at night, but they had to turn them off as there’s no other light around, so the blue eyes floating in the dark were scaring passing motorists. Ah, here we go: http://i.haymarket.net.au/news/Big_Prawn_Ballina.jpg
