Slow to the challenge this week, but I have a good excuse – my husband and I bought our first house! Once the initial excitement died down enough that I could function beyond “ohmygod we just bought a HOUSE”, we had to dive into a pile of paperwork and getting to grips with all sorts of finance and insurance stuff I’ve never understood before.
But enough about that, more on the house another day (and on another blog). I’d love to illustrate geometry with a neat image of the new place, but I can’t really get down there during the daylight hours this week. So, something from the archives.
Spotted on a building in central London, near The Strand. I stupidly didn’t note down the details so I can’t for the life of me remember what the building was, but the window really caught my eye. Maybe I’ve watched too much sci-fi, but it looks to me like the window is about to stretch open and a creature from another universe will burst through.
